Hugo Pace is a registered ARB (UK) qualified architect and a member of the RIBA. Hugo graduated in 2008 and has a professional career spanning over 15 years. He has worked in small to medium sized leading architectural practices in London, the South West of England and Australia.

Having graduated from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, Hugo spent several years working for Snell David Architects, an established architectural practice based in London undertaking residential projects for private clients, ranging from new build, listed buildings, extensions and interior renovations. He relocated to Australia where he spent over 9 years working for Smyth & Smyth, a prestigious private residential Architecture & Interior Design firm in Sydney NSW; leading projects that involved both alterations and additions to existing homes and new build private properties.

He was responsible for managing multiple high value projects ranging from $500k to $4mill AUD, being involved from project inception to completion, co-ordinating planning applications, undertaking detailed technical drawings for tender/pricing and construction as well as on-site project management and contract administrator.

On returning to the UK with his family in 2021 Hugo worked with Strom Architects, an international Architectural practice specialising in unique modern homes and luxury developments working on projects in Turkey, America, Sweden and the UK.

Having honed his skills managing multiple high end private residential projects for leading architectural practices in the UK and Australia, Hugo decided to form Dunning Design Architects in 2023 to create his own concepts and form functional spaces for his own clients.
