Smyth and Smyth were appointed by the clients to design a major renovation to single storey house located in the busy seaside suburb of Bronte. The design raised the height of the building in order to increase accommodation and centralise the living area to overlook the stunning views of Sydney’s eastern suburbs and Bronte beach. The project required intricate management and a co-ordinated approach between the building contractor, structural engineer and design team in order to successfully deliver this house to the high standard expected from the clients. The project was completed in 2020, when Hugo was the project architect for Smyth and Smyth Pty Ltd, based in Sydney, Australia.
